GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Reformer Beginners

This essential level class is perfect for those with no prior Pilates or Reformer class experience. The class will take you through the basic principles as well as some of the most important Pilates Reformer exercises and positions. The pace of this class is somewhat slower than of other group classes.

Reformer All Levels (except Beginners)

A mixed level class for those with prior Reformer class experience. Each time you attend a class you are given exercises aimed at your level of ability and you are encouraged to work at your own pace. And no two classes are ever the same!

Reformer Advanced

A more intense Pilates workout for those with extensive experience of the Pilates large equipment and want to take it to the next level and to be challenged. This class combines intermediate and advanced Reformer exercises for a full body workout that strengthens, tones, and mobilizes. This intense and fast paced workout challenges strength, flexibility, and coordination to take you to a new level of fitness.

Reformer + Tower

This class combines Reformer and Tower Trainer to strengthen and lengthen your entire body. It provides a challenging workout that emulates the body’s free, multi-dimensional movements of daily life. The versatility of the resistance forces from springs and wide ranges of movements helps further to increase body flexibility and mobility, build full-body strength and agility while stabilizing and rebalancing muscles.

Cardio-Trampoline

This fun and calorie burning Reformer class is low impact and high intensity. Jumping against the Cardio-Tramp Rebounder while lying down allows for back support and focuses on hip, knee, and ankle alignment. Using springs rather than body weight for resistance allows you to safely control the amount of impact and challenge. Intervals of jumping are mixed with strength building exercises for a great cross-training workout.

Yoga on Reformer

Performing Yoga poses and stretches using the Reformer machine which let you feel the smallest and deepest muscles in your body. Working against the resistance of the springs and dealing with the movable Reformer carriage will intensify your Yoga pose experience and deepen your connection to your body.

Athletic Reformer

This class uses Reformer and Tower Trainer and is designed as a cross-training fitness workout that builds strength and agility and increases functional range of motion, helps prevent sports injuries and shape a stronger and more coordinated athlete. It is perfect for the avid exerciser or professional athlete and can be performed alone or as part of a complete conditioning program.
